Job Description:
Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment.
Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures and post-operative care.
Education and Certification Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Mexico.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in perioperative nursing.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
CNOR certification preferred.
