Connect Staffing is seeking an experienced Racker Packer for a reputable provider of metal parts painting and coating services that paints and coats metal parts for various clients in Santa Ana, CA.

Schedule: 6:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday through Friday

Requirements:

• 1 year Previous experience in Racking, Packing and Masking is a must.
• Must be able to lift up to 25lbs
• Basic understanding of painting and coating processes is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to adhere to safety regulations and company policies at all times.
• Previous experience as a coating tech, parts finishing associate, surface preparation tech a plus!

Responsibilities:

• Effective use of measurement devices (Micrometers, Calipers, Optical Comparator, as applicable.
• Inspection of product for adherence to specification as well as aesthetic requirements. 
• Accurate and timely completion of all required documentation required for the operation
• Processing of product as required per production routing for the respective area.
• Packaging and handling of the product in a manner that will diminish the risk of damage via transit from operation to operation or location to location as well as within the specific operation being performed. 
• Accurate and timely completion of all required documentation for the department, as applicable.
• Use of computer-based programs specific to the manufacturing ERP system or QMS.
