Connect English is a locally-owned and locally-operated ESL school in San Diego that provides rich intercultural experiences and English language training to international students. We provide on-campus ESL classes in a fun yet academic learning environment. We are looking for a highly qualified English language instructor who has experience teaching ESL in a multicultural classroom. This English teacher will be joining a dynamic, challenging, and professional work environment in a school founded by ESL teachers.

We are now hiring for several part-time teaching positions (20 hours per week). These positions are for on-campus ESL teachers. This position provides paid training and onboarding.

Candidates for the ESL teaching position should have the following preferred qualifications:

1.) 3 months teaching experience in an adult ESL classroom
2.) BA from accredited university
3.) Full English fluency
4.) TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certification
5.) Expertise and instructional experience in English grammar and language
6.) Availability from 9:00am-1:30pm Monday-Thursday (morning schedule) OR 5:00pm-9:30pm Monday-Thursday (evening schedule).

7.) Energetic personality with ability to thrive in a multicultural environment

8.) Appropriate transportation to/from the San Diego campus of Connect English which is located in Mission Valley area.
