CONNECT CENTER is Hiring a Director of Program Development Near Cohoes, NY
The Director of Program Development (DPD) primarily works developing, planning, and overseeing programming for the organization. This staff member works closely under the Executive Director and alongside the Resource Development Coordinator. The DPD organizes the Connect Center’s Summer of the STEAM free summer program and the Connect After School Fall/Spring programs.
POSITION DETAILS:
Hours:Very flexible but 40 hours per week is required.
Paid:
- Yes.
- Bachelors’ degree of any kind, ideally a graduate-level student in an MPA or MSW field.
- Some experience, knowledge, or interest in funding development and/or grant writing.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work within timelines, ability to work collaboratively; and Excellent writing skills.
- This position is through the AmeriCorps VISTA program and comes with all of the benefits and requirements of that program.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and Organize the Summer of STEAM Camp.
- Organize and Oversee Connect After School.
- Other Duties as Assigned.
