Conmet is Hiring a Material Handler/Forklift Operator Near Canton, NC

Our ConMet-Canton location is seeking a skilled Material Handler/Forklift Operator to join our molding production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to move, locate, and stack products and packaging containers.

This is a Night shift position: 7 PM - 7:30 AM

What You Will Do:

- Follow written work instructions.

- Operate a forklift to transport materials/parts to correct locations effectively and timely to ensure no negative impact to internal or external customers.

- Keep materials/packaging areas organized and clean.

- Perform daily inspections on forklift equipment.

- Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures.

- Assist in maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

What You Need to Be Successful:

- Proven experience as a forklift operator

- Ability to accurately operate a scan gun

- Strong understanding of inventory principles

- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent organizational and time management skills
