The Role:

The Senior Tax Analyst will play an important role in managing the company's tax compliance, reporting, planning, and risk management activities.

Requirements

• Work with supervisor to ensure all reporting and filing obligations are completed accurately and filed timely.
• Prepare returns and ensure timely filings for US and International sales and use tax, personal property tax, and business, professional & occupational licenses.
• Support the preparation of quarterly income tax estimates.
• Facilitate federal and state tax audits and inquiries as needed.
• Maintain internal records and workpapers to support US, State, and international income tax positions.
• Ensure the tax compliance for new and dissolved legal entities.
• Monitor legislative changes to U.S. federal, state, local and international tax laws, identifying opportunities and adverse consequences.
• Perform tax research for federal and state issues.
• Successfully resolve tax notices, audits, and inquiries from various jurisdictions.
• Assist in developing and maintaining department internal controls, processes, and procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of the quarterly and annual state tax provisions and accounting for uncertain positions related to our domestic operations, and support compliance with our internal accounting controls.
