The RoleThe Senior Accountant – Revenue will be responsible for the preparation of various revenue and receivable related accounting schedules in assistance of accounting close as well as the oversight of all cash application and customer credit related transactions across all brands.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and ensure that all cash received with customer is applied to outstanding AR completely, accurately, and timely.
Communicate with the sales team and external customers to ensure customer credits are accurate, organized, and applied timely.
Coordinate and communicate with Order Fulfilment, Logistics, and Sales teams to work through and resolve cash and credit application issues.
Assist Accounting Manager – Revenue with preparation of various revenue related accounting schedules throughout the close process.
Produce sales and accounts receivable reports to assist with analysis and review.
Assist in cash collection and billing process as needed.
Assist in the implementation and training of accounting tools.
Lead, train, and coach analysts through their day-to-day responsibilities.
Requirements
Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Bachelor’s degree preferably in accounting or finance.
3 years’ experience in accounting/accounts receivables.
Ability to communicate effectively and manage multiple responsibilities.
Minimum 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
Ability to think cross-functionality, join data from various sources, and develop solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Experience at a CPG or Food/Beverage Company a plus.
Experience in Netsuite a plus.
Experience with Trade Promotion Management software a plus.
