ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

*Cat5&6 cabling

*Fiber splicing, termination & cabling (PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES)

*POS, work station, self checkouts, switches, routers, Modem & broadband installation

*Sever Troubleshoot (will need cisco console cable)

*cable troubleshoot (will need cable toner/tester)

*CCTV install

*Display Menu Board (DMB) install

*AV install

*Telco install ( need buttset, punchdown tool & cable toner/tester)

*POTS/PIAB install and cabling

*VoIP phone install

*Solar panel install

*External Antenna install

POSITION SUMMARY

Candidate will be Working closely with the REMOTE IT team, you will assist in carrying the daily service request workload associated with datacenter, simple break & fix, computer hardware and parts, Kiosks/POS, CCTV, Digital signage, Audio visuals, Structured cabling. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, experienced with datacenter related technologies, has a strong aptitude for problem solving, embraces cross-team collaboration, prides themselves with staying on the cutting edge of enterprise IT technologies

REQUIREMENTS

- 8-12ft ladder

- valid driver's license

-basic network tools and window's laptop

-2 years of previous work experience in a similar role

-Proficiency with and command knowledge of configuring, operating, and troubleshooting enterprise-grade network, server, mobile, and datacenter technologies.

- Basic understanding of structured cabling (Cat5E, Cat6, Cat6A), Optical Fiber cable Installation, and Data center builds - Racking various types of network switches.

- Strong Communications skills – written and oral.

- CORE Qualifications

• Proficiency in Audio Visual (AV) Systems setup and configuration
• Skills in troubleshooting audiovisual issues
• Experience with video conferencing setup and management
• Familiarity with projector setup and calibration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Degree or certification in a related field is a plus

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.50 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
