About the Role

The VP, Operations - Transmission & Distribution is a key leadership role focused on driving strategic decision-making and outcomes for the highest priority projects and initiatives across the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a centralized repository of processes, improving operational efficiencies, and aligning organizational planning with the company's strategic objectives. This role requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving, the ability to gather and analyze data, and the agility to pivot between detailed operational tasks and long-term strategic planning. The VP will also be tasked with fostering a culture of care, respect, and inclusivity, and will be accountable for talent management, performance, and succession planning within the operations part of the business.Candidates for the VP, Operations - Transmission & Distribution position must have a Bachelor's degree in construction or business (Master's preferred), with over 10 years of experience in operations and management. The role demands a leader who can effectively communicate, inspire, and build strong teams, with a proven track record in operations management, business, and finance. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, flexible, and possess strong stakeholder and project management skills. Experience in the oversight of operations management, a commitment to safety, and a focus on continuous quality improvement are essential. The VP will be expected to be a trusted partner, capable of making critical strategic decisions in a complex and global environment, and must be willing to travel domestically and hold a valid driver's license.
