Growing industrial distributor is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to add to their team.

As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery, and optimizing overall supply chain efficiency. This position requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of supply chain processes, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Duties:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize costs
- Collaborate with suppliers to procure materials and negotiate favorable terms
- Conduct demand planning and forecasting to ensure adequate inventory levels
- Coordinate production planning activities to meet customer demands
- Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement
- Implement lean principles and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency
- Utilize systems such as Power BI to generate reports and analyze data
- Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain issues and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with internal teams to fabricate effective supply chain solutions

Qualifications:
Strong purchasing experience ideally in a distribution environment
- Proven experience in supply chain management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, including procurement, demand planning, and production planning
- Proficiency in using systems such as Power BI for data analysis and reporting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
