Job Overview:

Caregivers, including CNAs, RNs, and LPNs, are sought to provide care for a quadriplegic male in his residence. He shares his home with his two children, who stay with him for two days and alternate weekends. Assistance with the children, as well as caring for their cat and dog, is part of the role. The family is active in sports, attends sporting events, engages in school activities, and enjoys summer outings at the lake. The patient requires 24/7 care, including nights, weekends, and holiday rotations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient information.

• Perform caregiver and nursing duties, including morning and evening care routines.

• Deliver healthcare services within the patient's home.

• Provide transportation and accompany the patient to work, appointments, and other engagements.

• Undertake light housekeeping tasks, including laundry.

• Run errands such as grocery shopping, meal preparation, and cooking.

• Travel overnight as required.

• Assist with the patient's children and their activities.

• Fulfill other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated willingness to work and commitment to the role.

• Self-motivated, organized, and efficient.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Functional competency with Microsoft office.

• Ability to pass a background check.

• Access to reliable transportation with a licensed, registered, and insured vehicle.

• Availability for night, weekend, and holiday rotations.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

• Willingness to work with children and animals.

• Demonstrated attributes of respect, trustworthiness, loyalty, and reliability.

• Flexibility and willingness to provide assistance as needed.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly use hands for various tasks and perform activities such as stooping, kneeling, and crouching.

• Physically capable of standing or walking for extended periods, manipulating objects, and lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to see well, either naturally or with correction.
