Confidential- Manufacturing and Distribution is Hiring a Regional Safety Manager Near Easton, PA

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Safety Manager to join our team. As the Senior Safety Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

You will also be responsible for managing workers compensation claims and conducting root cause analysis to identify and address potential safety hazards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational health and safety, with knowledge of EHS regulations and workers compensation laws.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential safety hazards.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop corrective actions - Manage workers compensation claims process, including reporting, investigation, and coordination with insurance providers.
  • Collaborate with management to develop training programs on safety practices and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on safety-related matters.
  • Conduct safety meetings and training sessions to promote awareness and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, training sessions, and other relevant data.
  • Prepare reports on safety performance for management review.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Safety Manager or similar role.
  • Experience managing a team of subordinates and getting objectives met by working with others.
  • In-depth knowledge of EHS regulations and workers compensation laws.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively train employees on safety practices - Proficient in report writing and record keeping.
  • First Aid/CPR certification (required).
  • Experience in training development is a must.
