Hotel Director of Finance
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance to join our team. The Director of Finance will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and providing strategic financial guidance to the organization. This is a leadership role that requires strong financial acumen, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to drive profitability and mitigate risk.
Duties:
- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the organization's financial health and stability
- Manage the budgeting process, including forecasting, monitoring, and reporting on financial performance
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial service providers
- Lead the finance team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities
- Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with overall organizational objectives
- Perform account reconciliations and oversee accounts receivable processes
- Implement accrual accounting practices to accurately reflect the organization's financial position

Qualifications
- Experience in the hospitality industry or hotel finance is a must
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management or related field
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial accounting principles
- Experience with financial report writing and interpretation
- Proficiency in fiscal management, profit & loss analysis, and risk management
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting and treasury management
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Ability to lead and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated ability in strategic planning and business development
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
