A local hospital is looking to add a Nurse Educator of Perioperative Services (Operating room, PACU and Endoscopy) to their robust department. Have a Periop 101 Course already established, almost fully staffed within OR and PACU!

Details--

• Direct Report: Reports to a Director of Education that has a participatory approach, helps out with training the Periop 101 Course and helps out the OR educator to ensure they are supported enough to be successful in this role.
• Team approach: Getting help from the Director of Education and the Director of Surgical services to support the training that is necessary for this growing division.
• Perioperative Quality/ Nurse Educator: Another Perioperative nurse educator that educates new quality processes within the department, helps educate on new equipment.
• Leadership team: Nurse Manager of PACU and OR collaborate with this educator to ensure all staff are completing objectives.
• Surgeries: Have a variety of surgeries they will conduct such as Orthopedic, Neurology, spine, Robotic and Cardio thoracic program.

• 5 weeks of PTO
• SALARY: $110,000 to $135,000

REQUIREMENTS--

• At least two years of RECENT OPERATING ROOM experience.
• Previous Education or Management in Operating room And/Or Perioperative Services experience is required.
• MUST HAVE MSN DEGREE or close to achieving within the last year.
• Ability to be effective in communication
