About the Dealer:

Rapidly growing dealer group is expanding into Northern and Central New Jersey. Seeking high level performer with proven track record to lead expansion efforts. High income potential into the possible Seven Figures!!

Position Summary:

The role of a Platform VP (Vice President) involves overseeing various aspects of the dealership's operations to ensure profitability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Leadership and Strategy:

  • Develop and communicate the dealership's overall strategic vision.
  • Lead and inspire a team of managers and staff to achieve business objectives.
  • Implement policies and procedures to align with the company's goals.

Operations Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including sales, service, parts, and finance departments.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement operational efficiencies to increase productivity and reduce costs.

Sales Management:

  • Work closely with the sales team to set and achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through effective sales processes.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Foster a customer-centric culture within the dealership.
  • Address customer concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Implement programs to enhance customer loyalty and repeat busines

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the dealership's budget.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to improve profitability.
  • Work with finance managers to secure financing options for customers.

Inventory Management:

  • Oversee inventory levels and make strategic decisions on stock orders.
  • Optimize inventory turnover to minimize carrying costs.
  • Monitor market trends to adjust inventory accordingly.

Compliance and Legal:

  • Ensure the dealership operates in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and changes in regulations.
  • Implement policies to mitigate legal and compliance risks.

Marketing and Branding:

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and implement promotional campaigns.
  • Enhance the dealership's brand image and market presence.
  • Stay current with marketing trends to maintain a competitive edge.

Vendor and Stakeholder Relations:

  • Manage relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and other stakeholders.
  • Negotiate favorable terms with vendors to optimize dealership profitability.

Employee and Development:

  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to staff, promoting professional development.

Requirements for Success:

· 10 plus year in Dealership Management with proven track record of success

· Experience in running multi-state dealership group

· 10 Plus years’ experience in Fixed OPS

· Leadership training a plus
