1 Shop Helper (Mechanical and Fabrication) Job in Torrance, CA
Coneybeare is Hiring a Shop Helper (Mechanical and Fabrication) Near Torrance, CA
- Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (plus overtime)
- Operate grinders, impact wrenches, band saws, hand drills, tube end punchers and other Sheet Metal tools.
- Assist lining up tube sheets, removing or installing tubes by use of tube pulling equipment to sledgehammers for the industrial structures.
- Grind and sandblast large metal plates and large vessels. Perform internal quality control of assembly, cleaning, and test procedures.
- Move materials using the forklift, overhead crane. We will Train!
- Perform other assigned tasks in a safe manner, avoiding all unsafe practices.
- Must be open to overtime and weekends
- Fabrication/Construction/Sheet Metal experience is PRREFERRED
- At least 1 year of Experience operating power tools and hydraulic equipment
- Forklift experience is a PLUS.
- Open to work OVERTIME
- Able to lift, pull, push 50 lbs. Must be able to start immediately.
