We are seeking CNC Lathe Setup Machinists to join a reputable aerospace company, with current availabilities for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. As a CNC Lathe Machinist, you will contribute to production by operating and setting up several CNC Lathes/Turning Centers machinery. Pay is negotiable with relevant experience and qualifications.

Essential Job Functions:

• Operate and setup CNC Lathes / Turning Centers to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications
• Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good working condition
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the machines and the production process
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Qualifications/Skills:

• Comfortable setting up and operating CNC Lathes / Turning Centers
• Highly skilled with Fanuc Controls.
• Understanding the machining properties of various metals and the proper application and operation of CNC equipment, tool maintenance and grinding.
• Reading, interpreting and working from engineering drawings and work order instructions.
