Position Summary:
Provides direct day-to-day care of patients and families. Practices to the fullest extent of his/her license in accordance with organizational policies. Under the direction of the Manager of Patient Care Services functions as a member of the Patient Care Team to implement the patient’s plan of care. Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates activities necessary to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Provides population specific care to meet the developmental needs of those patients we serve (adolescent, adult, and geriatric). The nurse, in conjunction with the Manager of Patient Care Services, participates in performance excellence initiatives that are focused on improving patient care and outcomes.
