Duties

• Taking patient medical histories and recording vital signs
• Preparing patients for examinations and assisting physicians during these exams
• Updating patient medical records and assisting with patient referrals and prescription refills
• Performing laboratory tests, diagnostic tests, and routine procedures (e.g. administering injections and venipuncture)
• Preparing and sterilizing medical instruments and equipment
• Coordinating with physicians and office staff to ensure effective communication and optimal patient-flow
• Adhering to OSHA, HIPAA, and other safety and compliance guidelines

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient care
• Strong ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the ability to obtain certification within 3 months of employment
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• 18 years old and above
• Proof of Vaccination required
