LOCATION: Cone Health Primary Care at MedCenter Asheboro EDUCATION: Appropriate Degree required from accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program EXPERIENCE: Must be able to see all ages, newborn to adult. Responsibilities
| Communicates professionally, compassionately and effectively with patients, co-workers and referring physicians. -------------------------------------------------- Provides appropriate patient assessment and establishes evidence-based plan of care with physician input when deemed to be appropriate. -------------------------------------------------- Provides patient education, discusses ongoing care, medications, resources for self-education, and when and how to contact the practice for emergent care. -------------------------------------------------- Responds quickly and professionally to emergent care demands, family concerns and nursing questions. -------------------------------------------------- Reviews, interprets and integrates patient data. -------------------------------------------------- Uses all electronic and computerized resources to provide timely and accurate patient care. -------------------------------------------------- |
Qualifications
| EDUCATION: |
| Bachelors, Required Masters, Preferred Bachelors Degree in Nursing or Physician Assisting required. |
| EXPERIENCE: |
| 1 year, Preferred 1 year of practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant preferred. |
| LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING: |
| REQUIRED BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider Current PA or NP licensure in the State of NC required. DEA License required. PREFERRED |
