CONDUSTRIAL is Hiring a Millwright Journeyman Near York, SC
As a Millwright journeyman, you will play a crucial role in the success of our construction project in Rock Hill, SC. You will be responsible for assisting in various aspects of the project, with a primary focus on welding and general maintenance tasks. This temporary position will last for about 3 months and could turn into permanent position.
- Perform welding tasks to ensure the integrity of steel structures and equipment.
- Conduct general maintenance and repairs to ensure the safe and efficient operation of machinery and equipment.
- Assist in the construction and assembly of steel structures, following project plans and specifications.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times to maintain a safe work environment.
- Proven experience as a Millwright in an industrial or construction setting.
- Proficient in welding techniques, including MIG and TIG welding.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
- Welding certifications are a plus but not required.
- Ability to work on your feet 10-12 hours a day.
- Ability to lift 50lbs as needed.
