Key Responsibilities:
  • As a Healthcare Recruiter, your primary focus will be connecting qualified healthcare professionals with temporary and contract positions in the medical field.

Here's a glimpse of your role, including scheduler duties:

Recruitment Excellence:
  • Employ various recruitment tools and techniques to identify exceptional candidates, particularly Registered Nurses, LPNs, and CNAs.
Candidate Engagement:
  • Field incoming calls from interested candidates and proactively reach out to potential candidates, ensuring a robust talent pipeline.
  • Schedule interviews and meetings with candidates and hiring managers, ensuring efficient coordination.
End-to-End Support:
  • Act as the primary contact for assigned candidates, offering guidance and support throughout their employment journey.
  • Create and manage candidate schedules, ensuring compliance with shift and assignment requirements.
Relationship Building:
  • Cultivate lasting relationships with healthcare professionals, understanding their career goals and aspirations.
  • Coordinate and schedule candidate orientations and onboarding processes.
Goal-Oriented Approach:
  • Exhibit strong motivation to meet targets and achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals.
  • Maintain a scheduler dashboard to track candidate placement progress and timelines.
Matchmaking:
  • Evaluate candidate strengths, preferences, and needs, aligning them with suitable job opportunities.
  • Coordinate and schedule candidate placements in healthcare facilities.
Effective Communication:
  • Maintain regular contact with candidates through email, phone, and face-to-face interactions, leveraging technology for seamless communication.
  • Send appointment reminders and notifications to candidates and clients as needed.
Compensation Guidance:
  • Educate candidates on compensation packages, highlighting personal and professional benefits.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payment processing for candidates.
Fast-Paced Environment:
  • Thrive in an independent, fast-paced setting, delivering results with urgency.
  • Adjust schedules and assignments as needed to meet client staffing demands.
Compliance Management:
  • Ensure compliance with pre-employment processes, including background checks, reference checks, and drug tests.
  • Schedule and track compliance-related appointments and training sessions.
Lead Generation:
  • Utilize various recruiting channels, referrals, and strategic planning to generate leads and expand the talent pool.
  • Coordinate and schedule recruitment events and job fairs.
Database Management:
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date candidate database.
  • Manage scheduling software and tools to streamline candidate placement.
Ongoing Support:
  • Check in with contract employees during assignments to address concerns and maintain strong relationships.
  • Monitor and adjust schedules to accommodate candidate needs.
Collaboration:
  • Work closely with Account Managers to understand facility staffing needs and clinical skill requirements.
  • Coordinate and schedule staff assignments based on client requirements.
Scheduling Duties:
  • Develop and maintain candidate and client schedules, ensuring optimal coverage and efficiency.
  • Coordinate shift changes, replacements, and last-minute scheduling adjustments.
  • Monitor and track candidate availability and preferences to match with open shifts.
  • Communicate scheduling changes promptly to candidates and clients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare facilities to ensure seamless staffing transitions.
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts and address any scheduling-related issues promptly.
  • Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly staffing schedules.
  • Utilize scheduling software and tools to optimize scheduling processes.
  • Continuously improve scheduling procedures to enhance efficiency and meet staffing demands.
Minimum Competency Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should have:
  • A college degree is preferred, but related sales or recruiting experience will be considered.
  • Residency in the Charlotte, NC area.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and internet usage.
  • Authorization to work in the United States for any employer.
Highly Desired Education & Experience:
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
  • 2 years of healthcare office or recruiting experience a huge plus
  • Career-oriented mindset with a desire for advancement.
  • Previous staffing industry experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with outbound phone calls and recruiting platforms.
  • Call center experience is advantageous.
  • Availability beyond typical office hours, as needed.
  • Reliable transportation and excellent attendance record.
