About the Role:
As a Supervisor of Bill Review Services for Workers Compensation Medical Review, you will oversee a team of bill review specialists responsible for accurately processing medical bills. Your role will involve providing guidance and support to your team, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and quality. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to meet client needs and drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising a team of bill review specialists in processing workers compensation medical bills accurately and efficiently.
• Providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members and fostering their professional growth and development.
• Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Monitoring team performance, quality and productivity metrics to identify areas for improvement and implementing necessary actions.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including operations, quality assurance, and client services teams, to address client needs and enhance operational efficiency.
• Developing and implementing training programs to ensure team members are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills.
• Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback to team members.
• Handling escalated issues and resolving conflicts within the team.
• Participating in strategic planning and decision-making processes to drive business growth and success.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in medical bill review, with a minimum of five years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of medical billing practices, coding systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in medical bill review processes, and leading people.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in any field
• Certification in medical billing preferred, but not required.
