We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our team! The Assistant Preschool Teacher will work under our Lead Preschool Teacher and Preschool Supervisor and oversee a small class of children ages 3-6 with special needs.

This position is primarily responsible for assisting the Lead Preschool Teacher with the implementation of curriculum that focuses on building social, emotional, and cognitive skills necessary for success in kindergarten.

Requirements:

• Must have 1 years of experience teaching in a preschool classroom/setting.
• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Must be able to work as a team!
• MUST BE CREATIVE!
• Prefer candidate with CDA certificate.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with parents both orally and written and provide consistently high-quality customer service.
• Must be able to assist with the overall function of a classroom and monitor the safety of children in their care.
• Must be able to organize activities that allow children to learn about their world and explore new interests.
• Must be able to collect data and keep records of children’s progress, routines, and interests.
• Must be able to develop and maintain professional, trustworthy relationships with the parents of the children in the program.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check.
• Experience working with children with special needs preferred but not required.
