Concordia University Wisconsin/Ann Arbor is Hiring a Clinical Coordinator for Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy Near Ann Arbor, MI

Concordia University welcomes applications for full-time, non-exempt, staff position as a Clinical Coordinator for the Occupational Therapy (OT) and Physical Therapy (PT) Programs. The Clinical Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Academic Fieldwork Coordinator (AFWC) and Director of Clinical Education (DCE) and faculty in working with clinical sites and in identifying and developing new clinical sites for Occupational and Physical Therapy clinical rotations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Promote the mission of Concordia University to all faculty, staff, students and to the community at large
  • Promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff, students, alumni, professionals and the general public
  • Manage the onboarding process for all clinical rotations
  • Manage the clinical contracts process
  • Updating of credentials and licensing for all clinical preceptors
  • Maintain regular updates to professional databases
  • Provide support for program events such as graduation, white coat, interview day and orientation
  • Initiate and maintain student, alumni and professional contact databases
  • Participate in the ongoing evaluation of the OT and PT program; this may include attendance at faculty meetings
  • Assist in preparing program accreditation write ups and onsite visit assessments as required by respective accreditation bodies.
  • Assist with clinical placement requests as assigned by AFWC and DCE.
  • Access and utilize educational software
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, skills, abilities

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Application software skills such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Outlook
  • Professional written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic office equipment
  • Understanding of University policies and procedures
  • Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality
  • Self-motivated, conscientious, able to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities
  • Supportive of the mission and values of Concordia University Wisconsin/Ann Arbor and the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS)

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or 2-3 years of directly related experience
  • Administrative experience that includes an advanced level use of Microsoft Office especially Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Previous experience working in an academic or rehabilitation clinic setting highly desired

Compensation and Benefits

This is a full time (40 hour/week), staff, non-exempt (hourly) position. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, education, and experience.
