Position SummaryThe Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the clean and presentable appearance of the facility. Qualifications:Caring, compassionate, and understandingHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Housekeeping experience is preferable. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs general housekeeping duties such as: vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, emptying waste containers, cleaning and sanitizing, and dusting in common areas, hallways, rest rooms and resident rooms, deep cleaning all vacated rooms to prepare for the next resident, washing windows, replenishing supplies, scrubbing floors and carpets. Handles, mixes, stores, and disposes of chemicals safely and properly. Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition. 4. Assists with special projects as requested such as carpet shampooing, wall washing, etc. 5. Commits to high ethical standards and complies with the Code of Conduct, state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and Concordia policies & procedures. Maintains confidentiality of resident and employee records and information. Has a duty to report compliance concerns, significant legal risk questions, fraud, abuse, suspected or actual misconduct to a supervisor/manager or to the Corporate Compliance Officer.
