Position Details:
  • Title: School Psychologist

  • Working Hours: 40 hours weekly, from Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify academic, social, emotional and behavioral strengths and challenges.
  • Interpret assessment results to provide recommendations for appropriate interventions.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional and behavioral concerns.
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to implement effective interventions.
  • Respond to and support the school community during crisis situations.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement strategies promoting positive learning environments.
  • Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), providing input and recommendations for students with special needs.
  • Stay current with best practices in school psychology through ongoing professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • California State licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience in conducting psychological assessments and providing counseling services in an educational setting.
  • Knowledge of special education laws and procedures.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
