Job Description

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the timely and accurate route planning and dispatch support for the company delivery and installations operation. Responsible for ensuring the right products are delivered and/or installed to the right location on time to the quality required and in the most cost effective way.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops, implements, and monitors all logistics activities required for the timely and efficient transportation and distribution of product.

Provide daily dispatch for delivery drivers by alternate routing, exception handling, incident response and answering questions on customer accounts, special instructions and protocols.

Develops solutions that leverage the Company’s volumes systems and partnerships while providing consistently high levels of customer service in a cost-effective manner.

Effectively engage and communicate with clients at all levels of the organization during the delivery process to earn their confidence and trust.

DESIRED COMPETENCIES

Good written and verbal communication skills. Good computer skills and knowledge of company specific databases. Broad knowledge of procedures and practices of transportation and distribution methods. MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Diploma or educational equivalent WORK EXPERIENCE: 4 years experience.

• Proven analytical skills. Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems with issue resolution skills.
• Efficient time management skills with the ability to recognize and prioritize profitable opportunities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $51,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
