On-Call Dialysis Nurse
Concerto Renal Services is an industry leader in nursing home dialysis. We are a rapidly expanding business with a simple mission: reimagining dialysis care, one community at a time. Our model focuses on ensuring those with end-stage renal disease receive the best possible care through a more convenient, centralized, continuous care model.
Summary/Objective
Concerto is seeking an On-Call Dialysis Nurse to join its team! The On-Call Dialysis Nurse is a newly created role in which the nurse is salaried and is on-call MWF. Some weeks, depending on call-offs and coverage, the On-Call Dialysis Nurse may work up to 3 days a week, while other weeks may result in less work. The nurse is eligible for overtime.
The On-Call Dialysis Nurse will be assigned to a specific region and is expected to travel within that region as needed. On occasion, the On-Call Dialysis Nurse may be asked to drive to other facilities outside of their assigned region. If this happens more than once a week, the nurse will receive additional travel compensation dependent on distance traveled. For any travel (within and outside of the assigned region) the nurse will be reimbursed appropriately for miles driven using the IRS standard mileage rates.
The On-Call Dialysis Nurse supervises dialysis care in accordance with policy, procedure and training and in compliance with state and federal regulations. Assures responsibility for the unit and works collaboratively with members of the hemodialysis healthcare team. Supervises care given by dialysis technicians while assuming a hands on role and fostering a team approach to patient care.
