Referral Bonuses are also available!Concern Housing is seeking a Development Specialist who will serve as the primary point person in applying for and developing a wide array of housing programs and other development projects. Actively seeks out funding opportunities to develop and plan for securing funds. In addition, this position completes Agency Projects not defined within other agency job descriptions and as assigned by the Executive Director and/or Senior Associate Executive Director.Position: Development SpecialistLocation: Medford, NYSchedule: Monday-Friday; 9am-5pmSalary: $60-$80k/yr.Duties and Responsibilities:

-Housing Grant Writing: Assist in administrative areas of project development, including but not limited to: the writing and coordination of government grants and proposals for new housing projects, including assisting in the coordination of the development of initial applications, secondary and tertiary phases, as needed and applicable (compile due diligence, drawdown grant funds, order third party reports, etc); assisting in securing/completing/submitting documentation as needed for developing or developed sites and/or projects (insurance, environmental reports, surveys, title, etc).-Monitor funders’ websites (OMH, OASAS, HCR, OTDA, DOH) for funding opportunities and Requests for Proposals.-Foundation Grant Writing: Writing and coordination of grants and proposals to various private foundations, banks and other corporations for funding to develop, expand or enhance programs. Submission of post-award documentation and reports as applicable.-Grant/Contract Maintenance: Coordinate, write and submit post-award documentation and records as necessary, including HHAP Annual Project Reports, FHLB AHP Annual Certifications, etc.-Coordinate, write and submit contract renewals, including OTDA NYSSHP, and United Way Long Island Agreements. Continuum of care funding.-Maintain contract and grant schedules.-Typing documents, letters, etc. as needed by Executive Director and Senior Associate Executive Director. Coordinate calls and meetings for Executive Director and Senior Associate Executive Director, as assigned.-Attend weekly Development Meetings with the Executive Director and the Senior Associate Executive Director.-Remain current with all Agency required compliance documents and trainings.-Assist/fill-in for Development Coordinator, as needed.-Any additional work as assigned.Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree and at least 2 years experience performing similar tasks in a similar setting.Click here to apply: https://www.appone.com/MainInfoReq.asp?R_ID=6224287Keywords: Development, Grant writing, Fundraising, Non-Profit
