• Prepare and deliver for COR approval a Test Plan and Test Procedures for each test activity/enhancement update.
• In accordance with the COR approved Test Plan and Test Procedures, verify and validate AADS & AAP functionality and performance against new requirements.
• Perform regression testing of the enhanced application against baseline functionality to ensure the application still performs according to baseline requirements.
• Execute system-level stress and load testing, including computer resource utilization to identify actual CPU utilization, memory usage, and other operating environment issues that may diminish optimal operation of the application. Present such findings at each PMR.
• Prepare test reports for test activities, including functional and/or performance deficiencies, planned vs. actual software tests completed, number of open, closed, and corrected problems/issues, system latency observations, CPU and memory utilization, and network bandwidth loading effects.
• Identify, label, serialize, and mark all Computer Software Configuration Items (CSCI) for the entire CM life cycle and store them in Configuration Management tools (e.g., JIRA or NDP designated Configuration Management tools of similar functionality for future upgrades).
• Manage configuration control documentation that includes the change control procedures collection, processing, distribution and tracking of modification request forms, establishment and administration of change control boards, and formal audits to compare product to documentation.

Required Qualifications:

• BS or higher in Engineering, Aviation, Information Technology, or related technical field.
• 3 years software engineering, testing, or other related work experience (advanced degrees may be substituted).
• Experience with Configuration Management tools, such as JIRA or NDP.
• Experience following software/system test plans and procedures.
• Experience developing and delivering reports on testing activities. This experience may include performance deficiencies, volume of problems/issues, system latency observations, etc.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to critically assess technical and programmatic issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to interface with customers and technical professionals at all levels, experience demonstrating independent judgement, and the ability to communicate technical issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; able to manage various tasks and determine priorities to keep projects on-track.

Desired Skills

• Hands-on experience working with the Airspace Awareness and Detection System (AADS) and/or the Airspace Access Program (AAP) system.
• Experience developing software/system test plans and procedures.
• Experience utilizing Subversion and/or Git.

This is an exciting and challenging position tasked with supporting Testing and Configuration Management for the Airspace Awareness and Detection System (AADS) and Airspace Access Program (AAP) systems.
