Senior Developer

Concept Plus is seeking a highly motivated self-driven Senior Full StackDeveloper. We are seeking a developer who can support design anddevelopment activities of a software modernization effort. The candidate will be

responsible designing, building and ultimately delivering solutions architected torun in an AWS environment. This project uses Agile methodologies andDevSecOps practices to ensure consistent, secure and timely delivery of

capability and the candidate should be prepared to operate in such anenvironment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop relationships across multiple groups.
• Contribute to customer satisfaction through quality code and on-timedelivery.
• Support and promote test-driven development (TDD).
• Continuously focus on and develop professional skills.
• Pursue training/tools to fill needs.
• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functionalapplications.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness ofapplications.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
• Apply industry best practices and techniques to design, develop, test,deploy, support, and maintain complex Java applications based onbusiness requirements using approved technologies and codingstandards.
• Assist in project planning and architectural design reviews. Helping toplan for future system design and development updates.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be USA Citizen.
• Musthave and Active Secret Clearance.
• Must have a current Security certificateor any 8570 IAT LVL II Certifications.
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Engineering, ComputerScience, Technology Management, or a degree in a closely related field.
• 5 - 7 years of experience
• Two years of experience may be substituted with an advanced degree
• Experience designing and developing Java web-based applications
• Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle orPostgreSQL.
• Experience with modern Java frameworks such as Spring
• Experience in an Agile environment
• Experience working with Agile tools (i.e., Jira, Confluence)
• Experience working with Docker
• Experience with a modern client framework such as React, Angular,Vue, etc.
• Experience working with AWS and developing Infrastructure as Code
• Knowledge of HTML & CSS
• Experience with Jenkins and DevSecOpspractices
• Familiarity with Federal cybersecurity compliance work
• Very good verbal and written communication skills
• Mentor and guide development team with any programming issues,ensuring collaboration, troubleshooting, and path to resolution.
• Communicate with team, customer, and stakeholders in a clear, concise,timely, and professional manner.
• Support documentation needs such as SLA’s, Software Designdocuments, SOP’s, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with US Air Force,DoD, DHA, VA preferred.
• Active Duty, Reserve or Guard experience, US Military.
• Within commuting distance of a Air Force Base, or Air Guard Base toaccess classified systems.
• Experience with Linux commands.
• Experience with WSL 2.
• Experience with Oracle Forms and Reports.
• Experience with Makefiles.
