Position Summary:
Seeking dedicated people with the desire to learn and build a career while exceeding the highest quality and safety standards. Ensure safe, efficient, and proper operation of various pieces of heavy equipment. Must be willing to relocate within Kansas as portable work demands.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintains crusher equipment. Cleans and lubricates equipment.
  • Must be able to move levers to regulate flow of materials to and from conveyors, chutes or storage bins.
  • Starts crusher, and prods, breaks, or discards lumps to prevent plugging.
  • Adjusts equipment such as screens, conveyors, and fans, to control or vary size or grade of product, or to maintain uniform flow of materials.
  • Maintains time and material records necessary to complete daily job costing.
  • Recommends measure to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, and crew performance.
  • Ensures safety of crew members and public who may interact at jobsite.
  • Follow all safe work practices while performing all duties

Qualifications:
High school education or GED equivalent.
Minimum six months related experience/training or equivalent combination of education or experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, climb, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms above their shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move any where up to 100 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include normal vision.

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in outside weather conditions and is regularly exposed to airborne particles. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
