JOB SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Director of Engineering & Facilities, this position is responsible responding to and resolving parts inquiries through follow up with vendors, initiating and maintaining ongoing open communications with vendors and internal departments and inspecting all material received for proper quantity, description, condition, and documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS/SPECIFICATIONS:

Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school.

Two (2) years recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Mechanic using Toch manuals/part manuals to order parts.

Experience handling technical equipment.

Proficient with MS Office tools, including Excel.

Work with mechanics, vendors, and managers to identify obsolete and surplus items.

Inventorying physical cycle counts.

Tagging and stocking parts received.

Update inventory locations via computer system.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

· Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

· Ability to deal with others effectively.

· Physical ability to perform light to medium lifting as necessary.

· Ability to organize work.
