Job description:

• Safety includes the development and implementation of procedures to protect employees, contract personnel and visitors and to ensure the safety of the physical plant and adjacent areas.
• It also consists of the co-ordination of inspections and the instruction of staff in safety measures.
• Safety also ensures compliance with construction standards and safety regulations and promotes safe operating practices and provides effective responses to emergencies.
• Follow specific instructions of supervisor or experienced staff to perform the less complex professional assignments requiring application of standard construction principles and practices.
• Use a variety of equipment including computers for such matters as preparing reports and conducting analyses.

Pay: $21.94 - $26.42 per hour

License/Certification:

• Certified Safety Professional (Preferred)
• OSHA 30 (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:
