COMTEC INFORMATION SYSTEMS is Hiring an Aircraft Technician Near Charles, LA
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in airframe maintenance, sheet metal work, and precision measuring instruments. Experience with Avionics and AS9100 standards is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain aircraft structures, systems, and components
- Conduct inspections using calipers, coordinate measuring machines, and other precision tools
- Perform equipment repairs and ensure compliance with AS9100 quality standards
- Troubleshoot aircraft systems and components for defects or malfunctions
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement modifications or upgrades
- Document maintenance activities accurately in compliance with regulations
Experience:
- Proven experience in airframe maintenance and sheet metal work
- Proficiency in using calipers, precision measuring instruments, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
- Familiarity with Avionics systems is a plus
- Ability to fabricate and repair aircraft components with precision
- Knowledge of AS9100 quality management system
