Job Title: Tech Career Services Manager

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with external partner organizations to coordinate and execute tech-focused events such as panels, fairs, and workshops, engaging tech employers and college education partners.
• Recruit, manage, and track volunteers, including coordinating orientations.
• Oversee job prescreening processes, manage job postings, and cultivate volunteer engagement through email management, recruitment efforts, and maintaining volunteer databases.
• Manage relationships with external academic and tech industry partners, facilitating collaborations and communication. Initiate and maintain communication with employers.
• Manage communications, especially student communications and support.
• Handle Dynamics Job Portal administration, including monitoring registrations and requesting updates as needed.
• Contribute to Career Services marketing efforts, including creating announcements, updating customer segments, and collaborating on marketing materials. Facilitate communication with marketing for event promotion.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred.
• Experience in program management, volunteer coordination, and event planning.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; excellent people skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
• Passion for promoting diversity and inclusion in the tech industry.

Preferred:

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or willingness to learn.
• Familiarity or experience with the tech industry and/or colleges
• Familiarity or experience with work force or career planning
