Computer Systems Center Incorporated is Hiring a Junior ACPSO (TS/SCI) Near Springfield, VA

CSCI is looking for a Security professional to perform the duties of a Junior Assistant Contractor Program Security Officer (ACPSO) to work in a very dynamic high-tempo environment to deliver Mission First results! The candidate must be able to work onsite in Springfield, VA.

The successful candidate will: implement and administer a Special Access Program (SAP), as well as assist in the implementation of all compliant SAP security policies and procedures for classified/proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. A successful candidate should have an understanding of industrial security regulations and federal security regulatory requirements of the NISPOM and DOD 5205.07 Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manuals. Understand established procedures for handling, storing, keeping records, and granting personnel and visitors access to restricted programs. Conducts security education and training programs for SAP. Investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken.

While this is primarily a first shift, Monday-Friday work week 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, mission requirements may include some business travel and work outside normally scheduled hours to have possibly nights and weekends to meet mission requirements. The primary duty location will be Springfield office.

The minimum requirement for this position is to have a minimum of three (3) years of professional security experience in the Department of Defense (DoD) environments with demonstrable SAP experience. Responsibilities

Responsible for supporting CSCI at the Springfield office. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring all SAP requirements, including but not limited to the following:

  • Administer the SAP Nomination Process by processing, logging, and preparing incoming and outgoing SAP Nomination packages.
  • Conduct annual SETA requirements in conjunction with the program off sites; provide Foreign Travel briefings and handle reporting requirements.
  • Classified document control to include maintenance of logs tracking documents in transition.
  • Program asset tracking includes tagging all assets and updating asset information in the Security Information Management System (SIMS).
  • Administrative Security functions such as organizing and filing all administrative program security paperwork.
  • Maintain all end-of-day logs, safety checks, visitor logs, and pass-down logs.
  • Provide Security escorting for uncleared personnel as required.
  • Process and track incoming and outgoing Visit Authorization Requests.
  • Perform COMSEC requirements for Advanced Programs.
  • Assist the Prime CPSM/CPSO with additional security support as required by the CSCI’s Programs Manager and the local Customer.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Have an active TS clearance with SCI Eligibility.
  • Must be team-oriented with a minimum of 1 year experience in SAP. Must understand industrial security regulations and procedures, including experience administering provisions of the NISPOM and DOD 5205.07 Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manuals.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and make significant contributions in a team environment.
  • Must be able to complete the CDSE Introduction to Special Access Programs (SAPs).
  • Must have excellent communication skills, including verbal and written, and be an experienced Security professional with tact and diplomacy being key.
  • Ability to work onsite Monday – Friday in the Springfield Office from 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

Experience Levels:

ENTRY – requires no experience, but a willingness to learn.
LEVEL 1 – requires a minimum of 3 years related experience
LEVEL 2 – requires a minimum of 5 years related experience.
LEVEL 3 – requires a minimum of 8 years related experience.
LEVEL 4 – requires a minimum of 10 years related experience.

Degree:

AA/AS or equivalent experience in a security or business related field required. BA or BS in a security or business related field preferred.

Training/Certifications:

Security Certifications (SFPC, SAPPC, SPIPC, and SPSC) preferred.

Applicants are required to have, at a minimum, a TOP SECRET (TS) clearances with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 5 years.
