Job Title: Expert on Skin Barrier and Inflammation Conditions
Job Description:
The expert should be an externally recognized domain expert and professional in skin barrier function and inflammation skin conditions and should be able to provide us with
- consultation on various feasible and scalable solutions, biologically, chemically, and physiologically, to mitigate inflamed and impaired skin conditions
- consultation to establish external credential measurements of skin barrier function
- consultation on the mechanism and response of skin care treatments/ingredients
- consultation on differences of skin among populations, biologically, chemically, physiologically
- helping to publish peer-reviewed publications
Must haves:
- Strong domain knowledge of skin barrier and inflammation skin conditions
- Strong domain knowledge of biological, chemical, and physiological solutions to mitigate impaired skin condition and inflamed skin conditions
- Strong domain knowledge of measurements of skin barrier functions and wound healing of skin
- Verifiable strong publication and patent records on the domain
Nice-to-Have
- Knowledge of genetic variance among various skin conditions
- Knowledge and working experience on skin and gut microbiome
- Knowledge and working experience on pre- and probiotics
- Knowledge and working experience on emollient and formulation for skin care
- Understand what can create irresistible superiority in consumer products
Scope of Job
This project aims to gain expert consultation on specific skin conditions and solutions to solve/mitigate the issues.
Deliverable
The expert should provide consultation regarding certain impaired skin conditions and how to solve/mitigate the skin issue biologically, chemically, and physiologically. The initial consultation may be 1 hour, followed by a few 1hr- consultations.
