Compudopt’s mission as a non-profit organization is to provide technology education and access to under-resourced youth and their communities. Compudopt is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to serve as an ecommerce associate for our Houston, TX national office. The ecommerce associate will report directly to the VP of Technical Operations |National.
This position supports programmatic work by identifying, listing, and fulfilling donated IT equipment on various ecommerce platforms such as eBay, Amazon, BackMarket and other identified platforms.
This role is anticipated to require 20-25 hours per week of work between the hours of 8AM-5PM M-F with flexible schedule options available.

Major Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Generate written descriptions identifying technology equipment on various ecommerce platforms optimizing revenue generation.
- Ensure accuracy of product listings on ecommerce platforms.
- Conduct diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of technology equipment received.
- Keep accurate records of all inventories.
- Provide support for customer inquiries and concerns related to online sales.
- Pack and fulfill orders and returns.
- Assist with donation pickups and material handling.
- Adhere to Compudopt’s inventory control processes.
- Collaborate with senior management to address challenges or concerns affecting sales performance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
- One plus years of relevant work experience in IT, sales, logistics or related fields.
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- A valid driver’s license.
- Ability to repeatedly lift an upwards of 35 lbs.
Preferred:
- Previous experience selling technology related items on various ecommerce platforms.
- Two or more years of relevant work experience in related fields (IT, sales or logistics)

- Intermediate knowledge, skills, and familiarity with technology hardware.
