Job Summary
Under the direction of the Special Education Executive Director or Designee, the Special Education-Transition Specialist provides appropriate and meaningful transition activities to post-secondary work, educational programs, and life activities. The Special Education-Transition Specialist plans, delivers, and monitors the transition services for all students with disabilities. Troubleshoots all problems related to Workability. Completes all reports, budgets, and attends required meetings.

Requirements / Qualifications
A. Possession of a valid California Clear Education Specialist Instruction Credential B. Possession of a Resource Specialist Certificate of Competence desirable C. Master's Degree from an accredited institution of higher learning preferred D. Three years of recent teaching credentialed experience E. CLAD required F. BCLAD preferred G. Experience working with secondary students in schools, departments, or agencies that support students with disabilities in transition to adult living activities desirable H. Bilingual ability is desirable YOUR APPLICATION WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED WITHOUT THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS: 1.
