Comprehensive Wellness Centers is seeking qualified Behavioral Health Technicians for all shifts. You will work with a variety of patients, and you will provide direct care along with physical or psychological support when required. Your most important duty is to ensure patient safety at all times. This is a substance abuse and mental health facility in need of someone with experience in mental health.

Qualifications

• CPR Training
• A passion for the field of behavioral/mental health
• The ideal BHT candidate has experience in acute care, detox, partial hospitalization, and /or mental health facilities, strong assessment, and organizational skills, and can prioritize care and communicate with the treatment team
• He/she can establish a therapeutic relationship with patients and their families, display good listening and observation skills, exhibit skills sufficient to adequately gather and record client data specific to current and past medical status, and form objective impression of signs, symptoms and patient complaints and their implications concerning treatment planning
• Most importantly, he/she exhibits is empathetic and understanding of patient needs
