Comprehensive Life Resources is looking for an Intake Therapist to join our team in downtown Tacoma, WA.

Function: Provide intake assessments to adults and children with chronic mental illness. Serves as a member of an organization that welcomes, engages, and serves individuals with complex wellness needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide intake assessments to adults and children with chronic mental illness.
• Provide liaison with other community resources to help the client access supportive services during the transition to enrolled status.
• Maintain clinical records and provide data and reports, as may be required for program monitoring and evaluation, in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Coordinate activities with other team members and other staff.
• Ensure that ethical and professional standards of practice are maintained.
• Participate in meetings and activities as required.
• In addition to the above, perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in social or behavioral sciences or equivalent experience and education. Meet criteria to maintain Mental Health Professional status.
• Chemical Dependency Professional (CDP) or trainee (CDPT) certificate from the Washington State DOH, preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work with mentally ill individuals in the community.
• WA State credential/license.
• Experience in conducting clinical interviews and providing mental status examinations.
• Valid Washington State driver’s license; proof of insurance.
