We take pride in our creative and collaborative work environment and in delivering clinically excellent, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented services.What are we looking for in a Program Manager?The Program Manager for the Youth Mobile Outreach team is a dual role serving as both clinician and supervisor for youth outreach services in Yakima County. The goal of the Youth Mobile Outreach team is to reduce the use of emergency departments, hospitals, and detention centers for young people experiencing a crisis by offering an alternative for support and access to services in the community when a mental health emergency does occur. The clinical portion of this role includes meeting in the community with youth who are experiencing a crisis and working to de-escalate and stabilize the crisis and connect the youth with services. In addition to outreach services, the Program Manager also provides clinical supervision and administrative oversight to the Youth Mobile Outreach team. This role requires a confident clinician who is able to provide feedback and motivate others, while also exercising excellent clinical judgment and effective communication skills. Previous supervisory experience and experience providing crisis services is helpful. This position has a Monday-Friday 8am-5pm weekly schedule, with required participation in the rotation for after-hours crisis call coverage for three consecutive days every three weeks.
Program Manager duties may include:

• responding to requests for outreach by community partners, families, schools, or law enforcement and meeting with the identified youth to de-escalate and stabilize the crisis
• completing screenings and assessments to determine factors contributing to the crisis, relevant history, strengths, and available resources
• coordinating with other treatment teams and service providers to connect the youth and families with services and resources
• assessing clients for safety and risk to self or others, and taking appropriate crisis intervention measures when indicated, including requesting evaluation by a DCR when needed
• providing clinical supervision to staff, which includes the assessment of clinical skills, giving constructive feedback, and providing additional training 
• ensuring the delivery of appropriate, clinically effective, and culturally-competent services across the program
• managing staff levels, work assignments, and program processes to ensure outreach services are provided efficiently for all requests
• participating in the rotation for after-hours on-call coverage 

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field
• Two years of experience providing behavioral health treatment preferred
• Must be eligible for MHP (mental health professional) designation
• Must be eligible for Agency Affiliated Counselor registration
• Valid driver's license, vehicle liability insurance, and two years of safe driving experience
