Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists in providing sterile compounded prescriptions to patients. This position is in a community pharmacy setting and requires knowledge of medical terminology and aseptic technique.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Perform medication inventory management and restocking
- Assist in the compounding of sterile products
- Maintain accurate patient records and prescription information
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program
- Current Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy practices
- Experience in an acute care or hospital pharmacy setting preferred
- Proficient in using pharmacy software systems for prescription processing
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
