Compliance Systems Management is Hiring a Construction Site Safety Manager Near Phoenix, AZ

Position: Construction Site Safety Manager
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: 2-3 months
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Site Safety Manager to join our team on a construction project in Phoenix AZ. The Construction Site Safety Manager will represent our client, an electrical contractor, and will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all construction site personnel and the general public, as well as compliance with all applicable safety regulations and industry best practices.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement site-specific safety plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
  • Investigate and report on incidents, near misses, and accidents, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
  • Provide safety training to all site personnel, including new hires and subcontractors.
  • Ensure that all site personnel are aware of and follow safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety records, including training records and incident reports.
  • Coordinate with project management to ensure that safety considerations are integrated into all aspects of the project.
  • Collaborate with local regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations.
  • Act as a liaison between the project team and local regulatory agencies on safety-related matters.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • OSHA 500, OSHA 510 or equivalent certifications
  • CHST preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction safety management.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and other relevant safety regulations.
  • Experience conducting safety inspections, investigations, and training.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
