Job Description:
We are currently seeking an ASSE 6040 Medical Gas technician to join our team in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have an active ASSE 6040 certification and a strong background in medical gas systems. As a Medical Gas Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and servicing medical gas and vacuum systems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections and tests of medical gas and vacuum systems in accordance with ASSE 6040 standards.
• Verify the integrity and functionality of medical gas and vacuum piping, outlets, valves, alarms, and other components.
• Document inspection findings and test results accurately and thoroughly.
• Communicate any deficiencies or non-compliance issues to clients and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
• Collaborate with clients and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective compliance solutions.
• Stay current with industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to medical gas systems.

Requirements:

• Active ASSE 6040 certification is required.
• Minimum 1 years of experience in the installation, testing, or maintenance of medical gas systems.
• Strong knowledge of ASSE standards, NFPA codes, and other relevant regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately document inspection findings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
