A. Summary:

Complete Welders Supply is a local small business looking for an energetic Class B Driver that would also like to learn the inside. Ability to handle light deliveries when needed and cover the store/warehouse the rest of the time.

B. Essential Job Functions:

The essential functions of the position include but are not limited to the following:

· Complete overall sales and customer service duties for walk-in customers.

· Set up showroom product displays, stock shelves and maintain general condition of the showroom.

· Participate in product application training.

· Provide quotations and bids for larger construction projects requiring welding equipment.

· Provide effective internal telephone customer sales and service

· Answer incoming phone calls and create orders in TIMS as needed

· Assist walk-in customers with sales of equipment and cylinders

· Maintain a focus on moving out slow or “Dead” Inventory either to the customer or to Napa location

· Ensure the store location is adequately stocked with required product lines.

Driver

When needed:

A. Responsibilities

· Complete the orderly product loading of vehicles which insures the efficient use of time and scheduling of delivery routes

· Deliver products to customers while abiding by load safety, DOT and general safe guidelines

· Maintain a high level of safety in all aspects of the job, and report any unsafe work condition to a supervisor

C. Additional Expectations:

· Adhere to Complete Welders Supply policies, practices and procedures

· Assist with such other duties or responsibilities as may be assigned.

· Performs other duties as assigned/required

· Available to work weekends or overtime as needed

D. QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

· High school graduate or equivalent experience

· Class C Drivers License

· Strong mechanical aptitude

· Basic knowledge of using office equipment – POS system, computer, fax, copier, etc.

· Effectively work with customers in identifying product need or application

· Maintain a neat and professional appearance while performing work related activities.

· Exhibit a willingness to serve the customer in a professional manner

· Ability to arrive at fair and logical decisions concerning return of defective products, customer credit issues or other customer/sales related problem

· May be required to lift or transport products or materials weighing up to 100 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
