We are looking for a Medical Assistant for our Cardiology Office.
Medical Assistant
Type: Temp-to-perm
Location: 2 Industrial Boulevard, Suite 200, Paoli, PA 19301
Pay: $20-24/hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8AM – 5PM
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience as a medical Assistant
- CMA/RMA preferred but will consider non-certified MA
- Cardiology experience is a plus
- Experience with EMR, Centricity experience is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Work with assigned physician on a daily basis
- Escort patients to the exam room
- Record medical information, review mediations, and obtain vital signs
- Perform stress testing, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Follow up on lab results
- Answer phones and assist with check in and out procedures if necessary
- Assist with appointment scheduling
- Review and prepare the next day’s assignments
- Other duties as assigned
