About Us: Our client’s office, located near the beautiful Garden of the Gods, is a thriving family practice dedicated to providing exceptional dental care to the community. The practice boasts a fun, energetic, and cohesive team led by an experienced dentist who has been with the practice for over ten years. As the practice continues to grow, they are looking to add an experienced Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to their busy team.

Position Type: Full-Time

Operating Hours:

• Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Friday-Saturday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM Note: You are not expected to work six days per week.

Salary:

• Competitive hourly rate: $21 per hour
• Estimated salary range: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist chairside during procedures.
• Genuinely welcome patients into the practice, making them feel at ease.
• Prepare patients for treatment, ensuring the highest level of care and comfort.
• Conduct thorough reviews and updates of patients' health histories.
• Set up and break down operatories, selecting and arranging instruments, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• Present and enter treatment plans into Denticon software.
• Provide post-operative instructions to patients.
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations.
• Stock and order supplies, and perform additional duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of chairside dental assisting experience.
• EDDA Certification.
• X-Ray Certification.
• CPR Certification.
• Experience with Denticon software is a plus but not required.
• Comfortable performing own fillings is highly desirable.
• Friendly and team-oriented personality.
